Roromedia had the privilege of organizing a captivating cultural workshop weekend, "8 Steps to China," in cooperation with AME - Austrian Music Education and the Confucius Institute of the University of Vienna. This portfolio entry showcases our successful efforts in designing engaging posters and planning the event, providing participants with a glimpse into the fascinating world of traditional Chinese culture.

Event Design and Poster Creation

Our agency took charge of the event design, including the creation of eye-catching posters that reflected the essence of the workshop weekend. Drawing inspiration from Chinese culture, we designed visually appealing posters that featured vibrant colors, traditional elements, and captivating imagery. The posters served as invitations, enticing participants of all ages to embark on a cultural journey through the "8 Steps to China" workshop series.

Event Organization

In addition to the visual design, our team meticulously planned and organized every aspect of the workshop weekend. From securing the venue at the Hotel Goiserermühle Kurpark in Bad Goisern, Austria, to collaborating with the Confucius Institute of the University of Vienna, we ensured a seamless and immersive experience for all participants. The workshop sessions, led by knowledgeable lecturers from the Confucius Institute, were thoughtfully scheduled to provide a comprehensive exploration of Chinese culture.

Workshop Program

Participants had the opportunity to engage in a range of workshops, each centered around a different aspect of Chinese culture. The carefully crafted program included workshops on Chinese language, calligraphy, painting, traditional paper cuts, music, Taiji, tea ceremony, and a captivating lecture on Chinese cultural history by special guest, Univ. Prof. Dr. Richard Trappl. The diverse workshop offerings catered to participants of all ages, creating an inclusive and educational experience.

Through our expertise in asian culture, event design and organization, we successfully created a captivating cultural workshop weekend, "8 Steps to China," that allowed participants to immerse themselves in the vibrant traditions of Chinese culture. The visually appealing posters, combined with meticulous event planning and a thoughtfully crafted workshop program, offered an unforgettable educational experience.
