Instead of our traditional Christmas party, which had to be canceled due to the ongoing effects of Corona, we have chosen to provide full shopping trolleys to those who are facing tough times during this festive season.</p><p id="">A full shopping trolley represents more than just groceries; it symbolizes the opportunity for individuals and families to enjoy a satisfying meal and experience the warmth of the holiday season. By alleviating the burden of food scarcity, we aim to bring comfort and nourishment to those who have been disproportionately affected by the crisis. This year, our focus is on making Christmas a little brighter for those facing challenging circumstances.</p><h2 id="">Stories of Hope and Gratitude</h2><p id="">One such story is that of Mrs. Johanna M. and her family, who received support through the Caritas social counseling service. Following an accident at work, her husband found himself unable to continue working and was subsequently dismissed. The loss of his income plunged the family into financial distress, making it increasingly difficult to cover basic expenses and even put food on the table. With the assistance of food vouchers provided by Caritas Austria, Johanna expressed her gratitude, saying, "Finally, the fridge is no longer empty, and I can buy my children a bar of chocolate every now and then.
